Pan-fried Potato Pancakes



Pan-fried potato pancakes are a delightful treat, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or as a savory snack. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these pancakes are sure to be a hit with the whole family.

Ingredients:

  • 2 large potatoes, grated
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions:

In a large bowl, combine grated potatoes, chopped onion, eggs, flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper

Mix well until everything is evenly incorporated

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat

Drop spoonfuls of the potato mixture into the skillet, flattening them slightly with the back of the spoon to form pancakes

Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy

Transfer the cooked pancakes to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil

Serve hot with your favorite toppings or dipping sauce
