A tasty recipe for honey mustard glazed grilled chicken that combines the sweet taste of honey with the sour taste of Dijon mustard. Great for the next barbecue!
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and pepper to create the marinade
Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour half of the marinade over them
Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat
Remove chicken from the marinade and discard the used marinade
Grill the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and juices run clear
Baste with the reserved marinade during grilling
Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired
